After
all, this is mainstream media we're talking here.

"I don't know what to do with all this
freedom."

"Ah,
the freedom. Look, we have the gas-line freedom, the looting freedom,
the killing freedom, the rape freedom, the hash-smoking freedom.
I don't know what to do with all this freedom."

it is WORTH THE WAIT!

looked at this again, more than a year after the convention. It

Karl
Rove's new spin project...
Note:
This isn't going to be for everyone.
And the bandwidth doesn't always support the full texture of it,
so be patient and keep it clunking along.
(The
QuickTime option played best for us)
Some of you are going to enjoy this greatly. We sure did.

The
Nation magazine Research question?
The
MVP needs help from a truth-lover with access to "The Nation"
magazine historical archives.
What
we want to establish is the nature of the magazine's editorial policy
on the issue of Black voting rights during Reconstruction, c.a.
1870.
It
will be helpful for our contemporary audience to see that sometimes
even our most illustrious "progressive leaders" can have
it all wrong.
Really
wrong.
That
is why we suggest that you write to The Nation Magazine. Ask them
much farther to the right they intend to crawl in this "lesser
evil" support for Kerry and the Democratic party?
Ask
them if Eric Alterman has received his DLC credentials yet?
What's
next? A sweetheart, softball interview with Joe Lieberman?
|
Hey,
Eric,
How about you look this up for us?

11/13/04
Come on folks, 400 people look at this
every day.
Who
has access to these pages?

Howard
Zinn said:
"Ralph
Nader's campaign is a vital element in keeping alive the public
debate about the Iraq War.
Senator
Kerry's reluctance to engage in this debate, and his support for
the broad outlines of President Bush's disastrous war policies threatens
to deprive the American people of the deep, thoughtful, and vigorous
debate that should be the centerpiece of the presidential campaign.
I
urge voters of all states - regardless of whichever candidate you
may decide to vote for on election day - to attend Nader conventions,
sign petitions, and do all in your power to assure that Nader achieves
ballot access."
Professor Howard Zinn,
Author
of A People's History of the United States

We
are grass roots activists on a mission. We believe we represent
a solid majority in this country, embracing progressive values
and actively supporting progressive policies.
The
problem is that corporate media has amazing success hiding the millions
of us from ourselves — a neat trick of making us invisible and isolated
from each other.
Our
mission at the MVP is to get us out of our houses and out of our
cars — to get us out into public where we can "see" ourselves
and each other. We are the majority. Let's get visible!
